This version is the actual version with some fixes and something new:
After you have installed the first manual patch, start setup and run the Update-SP option twice.
The first update to version 3.31 is "by hand" the next can be started by the "misc" option from my setup program. There you will find an update procedure you have to run. Please go to my blog and klick on sp_di_patch_. I have a Freeagent Do HDD attached on top of the Dockstar, and the USB stick in the back, and it is starting nicely everytimeHi sbp, But as I really don't need the webmin program that often - this is fine. The only thing is that I have to manually start the webmin - I have tried to reburn your image (v 3.30) a few times, and I never get it to start by itself after using your setup program. I have been using version 3.30 for the last few days, and it is playing nicely with my Squeezebox Duet. If that works we only need to start it from booting. Everything worked.Īnd then tried to log back into webmin and I couldn't.Īnd then tried to log back into webmin and I couldn't.Hi Richman, it seems you have to restart webmin: /etc/webmin/start. I started it up in web browser and it connected no problems. I didn't change name or password and installed webmin via your menu program. Must be some setting we have to apply that would make it lock the IP address by taking charge of the IP. In pogoenviroment I get lease and it shows up regular way. Do your dockstars that have static IP show up in your router IP table? And does it get "lease"? It could be that people have working dockstars but because they can't tell from router IP table any dockstar is there, they could unplug it. They show up in windows 7 network places. I don't see my static IP dockstars using your image. If people have problems booting, maybe they should use the same port you used to create image.Īlso, I wonder if there is some setting in DNS that needs to be applied for "leasing".
I create mine in back right one and don't have a problem putting my audio tongle in side port.
I'm thinking you created your boot stick using the side port, is that correct? If I put your image on the side port and the audio tongle in the back usb ports it doesn't lock up. I notice if I boot your image from the back usb ports it can lock up on startup if I have a audio tongle in the side port.
